Excellent place to stay especially if you want to explore Naoshima or the other islands near by. Close to the docks and the trains. Breakfast buffet choices are extensive and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If we are going back to this part of Japan we will definitely book there.

I really liked this hotel - the room was comfortable and was of a decent size. The breakfast was very good, and the location was excellent - a very positive experience.

There is no free parking. If you go by car, the parking is 1,000 yen paid in cash, in advance. That would have been good to know. The hotel is under some construction now, so it was a little messy.

The Diamond Setouchi Marine Hotel is situated 9 miles (15 kilometers) outside of the city center of Megijima Island. Before you and your traveling partner leave Shikoku, ensure you are able to watch some local teams. Visit Kanko Stadium, to the north of Megijima Island. Any sports fans hoping to sleep in the area surrounding the stadium can make a choice from the Okayama Royal Hotel or the Hotel Granvia Okayama.

Takamatsu Airport is the most practical airport for flying into Megijima Island. It's 12 miles (20 kilometers) away. APA Hotel Takamatsu Airport is a nearby hotel.
